From the
quaint historic architecture on Main Street to the rolling hills that give the
town its name, Crestview offers more than a decent, inexpensive place to live.
It offers something missing in most urbanized areas in America — quality of

Families find a lot to do in the Crestview Area. The climate is mild with an
average summer temperature of 80 degrees and an average winter temperature of
51 degrees.
There are several city parks with ball fields and playgrounds. There is a
3/8-mile clay track available to the public at the Old Spanish Trail Park,
which is also the site of the Family Fun Day festival, the Crestview Music Fest
and the Old Spanish Trail Festival.
Three scenic rivers, numerous lakes, acres of unspoiled forests and fine golf
courses make the Crestview Area a true paradise for those who love boating,
fishing and many other outdoor activities. In addition, the Crestview community
and surrounding area supports numerous social, civic and service clubs and
organizations from scouting for boys and girls, to professional associations,
to a varied program of sports and interest programs.
Regardless of age, activity level, or interests, boredom is never an issue — as
you can see there is something for everyone.
Commuting is easy, should business or pleasure take you to the beaches of South
Okaloosa County or on the interstate for longer trips. With four lanes, access
to Interstate 10 and effective traffic signals, highways 85 and 90 offer a
smooth, convenient mode of travel, efficiently handling the growing number of
commuters to Eglin Air Force Base and beyond.
What makes a place feel like home? Security, comfort and peace of mind. More
